Can You twist logo
Can You Twist was an online reality show featuring six of South Africa's hottest young female writers in a competition showcasing their short stories, which blurred the lines between fiction and reality when each week's conclusion played out in the streets of South Africa.

This unique, intriguingly playful project was the perfect platform from which Woolworths introduced South Africa to their latest in-store clothing brand, called Twist. The journey evolved over six weeks leading up to the final 'twist in the tale' which ended with the official launch of the new female-focused brand in 26 flagship Woolworths stores on Wednesday 20 August 2008.

Before the exciting brand reveal the public were delighted and surprised with real-life bouquets of flowers, a cryptic newspaper ad, a guerrilla garden on the side of Cape Town's M3 highway, 3D pavement chalk art in Nelson Mandela Square and a flood of soap bubbles in Green Market Square all as part of the online stories.
